Where Black+Decker puts the model number
| Product type | Where to look |
|---|---|
| Kitchen Appliances | On dishwashers, look along the top or side edge of the door when it is open. Ovens and ranges hide the label behind the storage drawer or on the frame when the oven door is open. Countertop appliances almost always have it on the base. |
| Power Tools | On cordless tools the plate is on the handle or the body just above the battery. Stationary tools put it on the base. |
| Vacuums & Floor Care | Robot vacuums keep the label underneath, often inside the dust bin cavity. Stick vacuums print it on the main body or under the bin. |
| Lawn & Garden | Walk-behind mowers carry a label on the rear of the deck. Riding mowers put it under the seat. Handheld tools print it on the housing. |
Getting the official Black+Decker manual
Black+Decker publishes product documentation on blackanddecker.com. Search there with the full model number from the label, then look for a documents, manuals or downloads section on the product page.
If your model isn't listed, try removing the last few characters, which usually only indicate color or region. For discontinued models, look for an archive or legacy products section, or contact Black+Decker support directly.
