Where SteelSeries puts the model number
| Product type | Where to look |
|---|---|
| Game Consoles | Consoles print the model on a label on the back or bottom. The system settings also list it. |
| Computers, Printers & Office | Printers usually have the label inside the front access door or on the back. Laptops have it on the underside. Monitors put it on the back panel near the stand. |
| Headphones & Speakers | Earbuds print a small model code inside the charging case lid or on the stem. Headphones use the inside of the headband. |
Getting the official SteelSeries manual
SteelSeries publishes product documentation on steelseries.com. Search there with the full model number from the label, then look for a documents, manuals or downloads section on the product page.
If your model isn't listed, try removing the last few characters, which usually only indicate color or region. For discontinued models, look for an archive or legacy products section, or contact SteelSeries support directly.
