Graco 4Ever DLX 4-in-1 Car Seat manual

A seat that converts from rear-facing harness to forward-facing harness, then to highback and backless booster. Because limits change with each mode, this page tells you where to look rather than repeating numbers.

01 Quick answers

Setup & install

Get the installation checked

The owner's manual covers each mode, whether to use the lower anchors (LATCH) or the vehicle belt, and the height and weight limits that apply. Read the section for the mode you're using, and read your vehicle's owner's manual section on child restraints too.

  1. Find the model number and manufacture date on the seat label.
  2. Download the matching manual from Graco if the stored copy is missing.
  3. Follow the installation steps for your child's current mode.
  4. Check the seat moves less than one inch side to side at the belt path.
  5. Have it checked by a certified child passenger safety technician if you can.

Limits in this page are deliberately left out. Always use the numbers in the manual for your seat's manufacture date.

Maintenance

Expiration and cleaning

Car seats expire. The 4Ever DLX has a long useful life, and the date is printed on the seat label. Clean the cover and pads following the washing instructions on the tags. Harness straps should only be surface cleaned, never machine washed or bleached, because that can weaken the webbing.

02 Finding the model number

The label is on the side or back of the seat shell. It shows the model number and date of manufacture. The manual itself is stored in a compartment on the seat.
