Factory reset a Roku Ultra
A reset removes accounts, channels and preferences. Use the menu if you can see the screen, or the button if you can't.
- From the home screen, go to Settings, System, Advanced system settings.
- Choose Factory reset, then Factory reset everything, and enter the code on screen.
- If the menu isn't reachable, press and hold the reset button on the back of the player for about 10 seconds with it powered on.
- Release when the status light blinks rapidly, then wait for it to restart.
Remote not working
Replace the batteries first. If it's a voice remote, remove the batteries, unplug the Roku, plug it back in, reinsert the batteries once the home screen shows, and hold the pairing button in the battery compartment for about five seconds.

Go to Settings, System, About. The model number and software version are listed there. The label on the bottom of the box shows it too.

Should I use Wi-Fi or Ethernet?
If the router is close enough, Ethernet gives the most stable streaming, especially for 4K content.
How do I find a lost remote?
Press the remote finder button on the player. The remote plays a sound for a short time.
