Where Huawei puts the model number
| Product type | Where to look |
|---|---|
| Phones & Tablets | The model is in Settings under About. Some phones also print a model number on the SIM tray or back cover. |
| Routers & Networking | Flip the router over. The label on the bottom has the model, hardware version, default Wi-Fi name, and often the admin login address. |
| Watches & Fitness Trackers | The model is in the watch settings under About or System. The back case also has fine print with the model code. |
Getting the official Huawei manual
Huawei publishes product documentation on huawei.com. Search there with the full model number from the label, then look for a documents, manuals or downloads section on the product page.
If your model isn't listed, try removing the last few characters, which usually only indicate color or region. For discontinued models, look for an archive or legacy products section, or contact Huawei support directly.
