Where Samsung puts the model number

On TVs the model code starts with letters for panel type and a two-digit screen size. In the menu, go to Settings, Support, About This TV.

Product typeWhere to look
TVs & Home TheaterThe sticker is on the back panel of the TV, often near the ports. Most smart TVs also show the model code in the settings menu under Support or About, which is easier than pulling a mounted TV off the wall.
Washers & DryersFront loaders usually have the label on the inside rim of the door opening. Top loaders put it under the lid or on the back of the control console. Dryers tend to use the door opening too.
Refrigerators & FreezersLook on the inside wall of the fresh food section, usually on the left or right side near the top or behind the crisper drawers.
Kitchen AppliancesOn dishwashers, look along the top or side edge of the door when it is open. Ovens and ranges hide the label behind the storage drawer or on the frame when the oven door is open. Countertop appliances almost always have it on the base.
Phones & TabletsThe model is in Settings under About. Some phones also print a model number on the SIM tray or back cover.
Headphones & SpeakersEarbuds print a small model code inside the charging case lid or on the stem. Headphones use the inside of the headband.
Watches & Fitness TrackersThe model is in the watch settings under About or System. The back case also has fine print with the model code.

Getting the official Samsung manual

Samsung publishes product documentation on samsung.com. Search there with the full model number from the label, then look for a documents, manuals or downloads section on the product page.

If your model isn't listed, try removing the last few characters, which usually only indicate color or region. For discontinued models, look for an archive or legacy products section, or contact Samsung support directly.
