Phones & Tablets	The model is in Settings under About. Some phones also print a model number on the SIM tray or back cover.
Vacuums & Floor Care	Robot vacuums keep the label underneath, often inside the dust bin cavity. Stick vacuums print it on the main body or under the bin.
Watches & Fitness Trackers	The model is in the watch settings under About or System. The back case also has fine print with the model code.
Smart Home & Security	Check the back of the device or under the mounting plate. For many brands the app shows the exact model under device settings, which is handy once it is mounted.
Heating, Cooling & Air	Thermostats show the model on the back of the faceplate or in the settings menu. Window units put the label on the side of the cabinet. Purifiers and dehumidifiers put it on the base or back.

Getting the official Xiaomi manual

Xiaomi publishes product documentation on mi.com. Search there with the full model number from the label, then look for a documents, manuals or downloads section on the product page.

If your model isn't listed, try removing the last few characters, which usually only indicate color or region. For discontinued models, look for an archive or legacy products section, or contact Xiaomi support directly.
