01 Quick answers
Reset AirPods Pro 2
This erases the pairing, so you'll reconnect them afterwards like new.
- Put both AirPods in the charging case and close the lid. Wait 30 seconds.
- Open the lid. On your iPhone, go to Settings, Bluetooth, tap the info icon next to your AirPods and choose Forget This Device.
- With the lid open, press and hold the button on the back of the case for about 15 seconds.
- Let go when the status light flashes amber, then white.
- Hold the open case near your iPhone and follow the setup animation.
Cleaning the ear tips and mesh
Pull the ear tips off and rinse them with water only, then dry fully. Clean the microphone and speaker mesh with a dry cotton swab. Don't run water into the AirPods themselves or use sharp objects in the mesh.
02 Finding the model number
With AirPods connected, go to Settings on your iPhone and tap your AirPods name near the top. The model number is listed there. It's also printed in tiny text inside the case lid.
