Where Lenovo puts the model number
| Product type | Where to look |
|---|---|
| Computers, Printers & Office | Printers usually have the label inside the front access door or on the back. Laptops have it on the underside. Monitors put it on the back panel near the stand. |
| Phones & Tablets | The model is in Settings under About. Some phones also print a model number on the SIM tray or back cover. |
Getting the official Lenovo manual
Lenovo publishes product documentation on pcsupport.lenovo.com. Search there with the full model number from the label, then look for a documents, manuals or downloads section on the product page.
If your model isn't listed, try removing the last few characters, which usually only indicate color or region. For discontinued models, look for an archive or legacy products section, or contact Lenovo support directly.
